Bring on the scarves, it's fall.

Friday

Wore some of my favorite jewelry with my favorite dress this week.
I picked up this amazing turquoise ring (right) on a trip to Golden Temple in Five Points.
The bracelet and rings on the right were my grandmother's.

I also got some crystals to put in my room, along with more of these 7-day candle from Mi Pueblo on Greensprings. I can't resist anything with a black cat on it. :)

So here are some prints I've gotten to hang in my house!
The picture above was a gift from my mom,
The AMAZING Stevie Nicks print was from Etsy,
And the astronomy diagram is a large print from Urban Outfitters.

Got a great vintage-looking postcard to put on my fridge.

I also picked up my favorite cookies from Mi Pueblo, strawberry Hello Panda!!

Cooked at a friend's!
An old favorite:
pan-fried tofu, squash, zucchini, spinach, tomatoes, onions with soy sauce over quinoa and garlic

Lately...

Halloween is upon us!!
To me, the entire month of October is Halloween, so expect some spooky additions to my decor like this lil black cat I picked up at Walgreens (and artfully hung some jewelry on) and these candles from Beans, Books and Candles, a mystical store near Five Points South.
One is Diosa Del Mar, goddess of the sea and the other is an "alleged" Jinx Removing Candle.
I chose these because I really liked the design on the jars, haha.
I put them on my dresser in my room, which is starting to get cluttered with jewelry and knickknacks.

Purple flowers from my guy :)

This delicious spread is from the annual Middle Eastern Food Festival at St. George's!
I had kibbee, which is baked beef mixed with spices, rice, stuffed grape leaves, a spinach pie, green beans, salad and hummus and pita.

I'm really liking this matte balm from Revlon. It's a red-orangey shade that has vibrant saturation and doesn't leave my lips feeling dry.

New arrow bangle bracelet from Soca Clothing in Homewood

Obsessed with my new turquoise and gold poison ring from Urban Outfitters

Closeups ;)

As well as my crescent moon necklace. I wore it yesterday and today with a lilac crystal necklace and a circle gold, diamond necklace from my grandmother.

Waverly Boogie and Weekends in Auburn

First is some Creek Water (Wild Turkey, citrus juices, and mint) and some of Mama Sue's  muscadine jam from brunch at The Hound.

Great coozies and cooler sticker from Standard Deluxe, home of the Old 280 Waverly Boogie.

(Right) One of my favorite artists, Nikki Lane closing out the Boogie in the beautiful Waverly, AL.

Plus, this is the third Boogie I've been to with my dude. :)

Other favorites were: Great Peacock and the Water Liars

It wouldn't be a Boogie without some boogie loot.
Above: Green Bottle Candle Co. Lavender Chamomile candle
Couture Jems GORGEOUS quartz necklace

Below: Bullet gemstone necklace from The Rainy Day Studio and The Curious Fox

Above: Hunter and I fell in love with psychedelic country blues artist from Austin, TX, Ramsay Midwood.  We bought two of his albums, Ringmaster (left) and Larry Buys a Lighter (right.

Below: The Design for the t-shirt I bought from Standard Deluxe for the 2014 Fall Boogie!
My t-shirt is in a peachy-salmon color though :)
